Our Magna Carta – Bury St. Edmunds celebrates its role in history and democracy

The Bury St. Edmunds Society is a Civic Society which has a membership of 500 who pay a subscription. Over the past forty years we have continued informing and educating communities on a wide range of issues regarding heritage. The Bury Society’s aim is to make a lasting difference for people, community and heritage in Bury St. Edmunds.

The successful bid for ‘Our Heritage’ funds will be delivered by a partnership of The Bury Society, St Edmundsbury Cathedral and St Edmundsbury Borough Council. The Bury Society is managing the project through the Bury St Edmunds Magna Carta 800 Committee.
